The 2024 remake covers roughly the first five volumes. Continue from volume 6. Sources say roughly rather than exactly, and many readers start at volume 1 anyway, since the novels carry a lot the screen cannot. Twenty-three volumes exist.

The source is a LIGHT NOVEL, so answers are volumes. This is the 2024 remake, which restarts the story rather than continuing the 2008 series, so the two are not interchangeable. Much of what makes the books distinctive is the economics and Holo's dialogue, which the screen necessarily trims.
