All of Us Are Dead: where to start reading

Season 1 draws on the whole webtoon rather than leaving a later chunk unread, so there's no unread 'next chapter' waiting. But there's also no complete English translation to read: only the opening 9 of 130 chapters were ever officially released in English, back in 2021, and that release was never continued. For anyone who can read the rest -- in Korean, or if a fuller translation ever arrives -- expect real differences: several relationships and character arcs, including how some of the season's central threads resolve, play out differently than what the season showed.
Season 1 leaves off around chapter 1 -- though only ch. 1-9 of 130 were ever released in english. Pick the webtoon up right there:

What the show changed here
- ChangedRelationships and a few character arcs -- including how some of the season's central story threads resolve -- differ from the webtoon, even though the season follows its overall shape from start to finish.
- InventedThe show adds a classmate with no counterpart in the webtoon and gives the virus a different, more deliberate origin story than the webtoon's.
The source is a KOREAN WEBTOON, originally titled 'Now at Our School' (지금 우리 학교는), complete at 130 chapters (serialized May 2009 - November 2011), not a manga. There is no way to read the complete story in English: no English print edition has ever existed, and the only official English digital release -- 9 chapters posted on the WEBTOON app/site in a single batch on August 15, 2021 -- was never continued and has sat at that same 9-of-130 count for five years since. Season 1 (12 episodes, January 2022) adapts essentially the entire webtoon rather than stopping partway through it -- sources describe the source material as fully used up by the finale -- while changing character-level details along the way, including a classmate with no webtoon counterpart, a reworked origin for the virus, and how several characters' individual stories resolve. Season 2 was renewed in 2022, filmed in 2025, and wrapped in February 2026; as of this writing it remains unreleased with no confirmed date (speculation points to late 2026 or early 2027, but Netflix has not confirmed either) and is expected to be an original story with no webtoon source, the same pattern as Sweet Home's later seasons.
