Season 1 follows the manga closely. Season 2, Tokyo Ghoul √A, does not: it is almost entirely an anime-original story that is not canon, so there is no point in the manga it corresponds to and nothing in it can be used as a reading position. Only the first two seasons are mapped here. The later Tokyo Ghoul:re seasons adapt a different manga, the sequel series Tokyo Ghoul:re, and compress it heavily, so they are deliberately left out rather than answered wrongly.
