- InventedAssassins Hazel and Cha-Cha, plus Hazel's diner-waitress romance, are added for the show; they only turn up in the second comic volume.
- InventedBen's ghost as Klaus's constant companion is a show creation; the comic doesn't give the dead brother that ongoing role.
