What the show changed here
- ChangedThe prophecy is widened so any of the five Two Rivers youths could be the Dragon Reborn, keeping the identity ambiguous longer.
- InventedLaila, an invented wife for Perrin, is created and killed by his hand in the opening battle. Co-author Brandon Sanderson opposed the change.
- CutThe stop in Caemlyn is replaced with Tar Valon, cutting Rand's book meeting with Elayne (who is held until Season 2).
- ChangedNynaeve is given an invented backstory as an orphan brought to the Two Rivers, seeding her distrust of Aes Sedai.
- MovedMat is written out before the final journey, staying behind rather than reaching the Eye of the World (a recasting-driven change).
- CutThe Green Man is dropped and the Eye of the World climax is restructured from the book's version.

A very loose adaptation that reorders events, merges and invents characters, and changes who does what. Prime Video cancelled it after 3 seasons (2021-2025), so it covers only the early books.
