There is only one Philip K. Dick novel. Season 1 loosely adapts it (spread thin, with much of the book in the pilot and elements drawn out later), but the show departs from and expands well beyond the novel almost immediately, drawing on an unfinished Dick sequel and a large amount of original material across seasons 2 to 4.
