The BBC One series (broadcast in the US as C.B. Strike, first on Cinemax for series 1-3, then HBO Max from series 4 on) adapts Robert Galbraith's Cormoran Strike novels one book per series, in strict publication order, with no combining or reordering of source material -- the cleanest mapping in this dataset's crime cluster. Six series have aired: The Cuckoo's Calling (2017), The Silkworm (2017), Career of Evil (2018), Lethal White (2020), Troubled Blood (2022), and The Ink Black Heart (2024). A seventh series, adapting The Running Grave, is confirmed for BBC One and HBO Max and began filming in autumn 2025, with broadcast expected around Christmas 2026 -- it had not aired as of this build, so it is not offered as a unit here. An eighth novel, The Hallmarked Man, was published in September 2025 with no TV adaptation announced yet. A ninth novel, Sleep Tight, Evangeline, was announced in February 2026 and remains unpublished; the print series continues.
