Dracula: where to start reading
Adapts Dracula by Bram Stoker. Say how far you watched, and pick the book up exactly there.
The three-episode series takes details from Stoker's novel but, in the creators' own words, adds 'a lot of new stuff' and ignores other passages, aiming to be 'both faithful and faithless at the same time.' It reframes Dracula as the hero of his own story and moves partly into the modern day. Read the 1897 novel as its own complete work; the show does not track it closely.

The 2020 Moffat and Gatiss three-episode series is a loose reimagining of Stoker's 1897 novel: it borrows characters and details, invents a great deal, and moves partly into the present day.
Spoiler-safe ratings are coming. You will rate and read reviews only up to your place in the story, never a hint of what is ahead.
